Guy Martin
ART MEETS PASSION

Love for life
Guy Martin, a Michelin-starred chef renowned for his inspired and generous cuisine, has always had a deep passion for wine. For him, wine is more than just an accompaniment: it’s a living work of art, capable of sublimating an emotion, extending a story or revealing a new one. Curious and demanding, he explores terroirs with the same sensitivity as his dishes, in search of authenticity and singular expression.
In love with the link between the land, time and the talent of the winemakers, Guy Martin sees each bottle as a form of art. He favours sincere wines, made with respect for nature and taste, and is happy to share his favourites, as an extension of his culinary universe. For him, wine is a liquid emotion, a silent dialogue between man and nature.
The love of the vine
Two-star chef Guy Martin discovered Italy’s Salento region on a trip and fell in love with it. He renovated three sumptuous palaces in Nardò and became the owner of a local vineyard.
His love of the vine is evident in his commitment to wine tourism and the creation of his Primissimo wine, made from certified organic Negro amaro grapes. The Casa della Vigna, a luxury suite he has renovated, is dedicated to the harmony between vine and nature, reflecting his deep attachment to this region and its terroir.
The responsibly produced Primissimo wine is certified organic, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly viticultural practices. Aged for six months in new French casks, this wine is distinguished by its deep, brilliant dark red colour with violet highlights, and its long legs.
